Oxy Vinyls

This project consists of a 5.8 MWe Solar Turbine Gas Turbine Generator, complete with a 70,000 lb/hr Heat Recovery Steam Generator. The project features a condensing econo-mizer, fresh air firing and superheated steam.

CEM helped Oxy obtain a large financial incentive for this project, as well as other pre-capital due diligence tasks. CEM was hired to complete all “process engineer-ing” (mechanical and electrical), as well as being responsible for the electrical intercon-nect with the LDC.

CEM prepared, in total, 130 drawings and was responsible for contract administration and commissioning assistance to Oxy.
