  • CEM Responsibilities

    • Early Technical and Economic Feasibility Studies; subsequent detailed engineering and construction management services
    • Managed all Permits and Approvals, Building Permits, and liaison with Ministry of Environment
    • Managed Certificate of Approval, accounting for air and noise emissions
    • Provided engineering support and project management services for major equipment selection and procurement.
    • CEM was responsible for hot water tie-in to existing greenhouse loads and hot water loop for digester heating; biogas piping, biogas boiler fuel train, and biogas blower to engine genset and greenhouse boiler system.
    • Obtaining approval from TSSA for biogas fuel system and piping
    • Design of biogas clean up system, to ensure biogas meets quality requirements of engine.
    • Facilitated Net-Metering arrangement with Peninsula West Utilities; arranged installation of second revenue grade meter for RESOP Contract
    • Prepared RESOP application to the OPA.
