CEM Engineering and Threeosix Industrial Partner with WM for Renewable Natural Gas Infrastructure Project

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with WM as they commence the construction phase of their new Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) infrastructure project at Twin Creeks Environmental Centre in Ontario

This groundbreaking project, which will leverage advanced technologies to turn waste into energy, is poised to become operational by early 2025. Wayne Jenken, Engineering Manager at WM, highlighted the project’s potential, emphasizing its capacity to produce enough natural gas to heat approximately 35,000 Ontario homes annually for the next 20 years.

The process involves using state-of-the-art equipment to convert landfill gas captured from the Twin Creeks site into pipeline-quality gas for injection into the nearby commercial gas transmission and distribution network, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to a cleaner environment.

We are proud to be part of a project that aligns with WM’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By repurposing landfill gas into a valuable energy resource, WM is taking a significant step towards a greener, more sustainable future.

Stay tuned for more updates as we progress towards the commissioning of this facility and witness the transformative impact it will have on the surrounding community and the environment!
